Metropolis of Atlanta Sisterhood of Presvyteres

The patron saint of our Metropolis is the Archangel Michael. We as presvyteres of this holy and blessed Metropolis make up his wings. We each represent a feather. He cannot fly with one feather, but only with all of his feathers together. As individuals, we too need to bond together, in fellowship, in service and assisting each other. His wings show his strength and his gentleness, as we portray our own image to our community, our sisters, and our Metropolis.
With the intercessions of the Archangel Michael and on his mighty wings may the Metropolis Sisterhood soar to new heights of spirituality and fellowship.
The Metropolis of Atlanta Sisterhood of Presvyteres prints a newsletter called "The Archangel's Wings." This includes news and inspiration as well as a special Sister's Corner sharing talents of the presbyteres. The new board is: Joanna Alexson, Vice President; Marinda Tsahakis, Treasurer; Elaine Stratis, Corresponding Secretary; Magda Andronache, Recording Secretary; and Christine Salzman, Advisor and Spiritual Retreat Coordinator. Constantina Papanikolau is the alternate national representative.

The 6th Biennial NSP Retreat will be held October 9-12, 2009, at Bons Secours Spiritual

The National Clergy-Laity Conference will take place in Atlanta, GA, in 2010. The Clergy Family Retreat will take place in June 2010 at the Diakonia Center.
