Why YAL?

For the development of an Orthodox Christian Identity via a model of four interrelated circles with Jesus Christ as source and center.

The circles represent:

LITURGIA - WORSHIP

MARTYRIA - WITNESS

DIAKONIA - SERVICE

KOINONIA - FELLOWSHIP

How can I join?

There is no membership fee, but we do encourage becoming stewards of the Church. What does YAL do?

Sponsor Spiritual retreats and workshops, outreach activities (such as an annual Christmastime lunch at Hellenic Towers elderly residence), and various activities for social interaction with fellow Orthodox young adults. YAL participates in parish community events and donates funds to many charitable causes (such as St. Basil's Academy, the Orthodox Christian Mission Center,  IOCC, various Orthodox Monasteries, and Hellenic College/Holy Cross.
